The ability to watch video content from the web on my PC this application is fun the ease-of-use is intuitive and best of all it's free. This is one of the best open source applications that I've ever used. All in all Boxee is a great addition to anyone's software collection even if just for the live feeds and different stations. If your into doing other things at once besides just listening to music or just watching a video then Boxee is best suites for it's live feeds and for stations while letting another app work for video and audio files. The fact it opens by default in full screen mode which makes playing audio files a pain since usually most would like to do other things while listening to music. Some of the downsides to Boxee are the fact it can be extremely slow to start up and close down. It can play almost any video file and audio file. Boxee is a very nice all around media center and is one of the best if you prefer one app doing everything fo r you.
